Position: Head Coach
The Mill Glen Marlins swim team is a wonderful group of about 100 swimmers, located in Dunwoody. We are seeking a Head Coach for the 2019 swim season.
Description/Responsibilities Include:
– Seeking a coach who promotes fun, good sportsmanship, and a love for swimming;
– Must be able to work with kids of all ages;
– Previous lead coaching experience preferred;
– Competitive swimming background preferred;
– Maintaining current lifeguard certification;
– Attending and running all swim practices (mornings, 2 afternoons, and meets);
– Instructing swimmers to improve stroke techniques and speed;
– Supervising all assistant coaches;
– Attending and managing all swim meets, including ASA DIvisinal and ASA Championships;
– Attending the Hy-Tek training in Atlanta held by ASA;
– Communicating with the swim team coordinators on all needs and concerns
