The Garden Hills Cool Sharks Swim Team is looking for a Head Coach for the summer 2021 season and beyond. Our mission is to promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, healthy competition, and personal achievement, as well as to encourage a life-long love for swimming.
- We are a public City of Atlanta pool, and our programs are open to anyone
- We have a strong reputation for competitive success at both the youth and adult levels, as well as a proud history of diversity and swimmer development for children of all abilities. The primary focus of our programs will always be to have fun!
- Our programs run April-September, and serve over 500 children and adults
- The Head Coach will be expected to run our Spring Stroke Clinic in April, Summer Swim Team (300+ members) in May and June, and Fall Swim Team (125+ members) in Aug and Sept
- Our other programs (separately coached) include a Junior Swim Team, Youth Dive Team, Adult Swim Team, and swim lessons (all coaches are welcome to teach private lessons)
- We offer a competitive salary, commensurate with experience
- Practice schedule is generally M-Th evenings and Sat mornings, plus M-F mornings in June
- Meets are Tuesday evenings in June, plus an end-of season fall meet the Saturday after Labor Day
