Do you love kids and families? Are you great at being the first to greet people with a smile? Our Private Country Club in Buckhead is looking for Assistant Swim Team Coaches who can support and improve programs/processes implemented by the Head Coach.

Job Summary:  Our Assistant Swim Coaches are an integral part of the Family, Swim and Fitness team, responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the coaching and overall organization of the Cherokee Swim Team. The right candidate will help keep the program focused on fun, wellness, teamwork, and a positive environment for the swimmers.  The Swim Season begins in early April with Preseason practices and culminates in August with Summer Swim. This position includes the opportunity to teach swim lessons and swim clinics.

Job Duties Include:

• Attending all swim team activities throughout the season, April through August, including practice, swim meets, and team social events.
• Responsible for the hands-on skill development of all swim participants by motivating swimmers to achieve individual goals while promoting team spirit.
• Assists in the day to day organization of swim team practices and meets.

If you are friendly, courteous, and love kids, we are looking for you! Additional qualifications include First Aid / CPR certification, experience in coaching all ages and levels of swimmers, and general knowledge of the sport of swimming.

This position reports to the Head Swim Coach and is a non-exempt hourly seasonal position.
