A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SWIM INSTRUCTOR
As a seasonal Assistant Swim Team Coach, you eagerly arrive at the pool with an upbeat attitude ready to engage with your athletes. You teach basic, intermediate, and advanced swim skills to swim team athletes. Working with swimmers in a variety of ages groups, you make sure that every swimmer is able to develop skills and learn proper swimming techniques. Your ability to motivate your athletes to achieve individual goals is essential to your success. Each day, each practice, each meet and each athlete are amazing opportunities to share your love for swimming. Plus, you enjoy spending your summer outside in the pool.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least 18 years of age
Previous swim instruction experience
CPR/AED/First Aid certification for adults, children, and infants
Are you reliable and patient? Do you have a passion for teaching? Can you motivate others? Are you approachable? Would you enjoy working with children and adults in an outdoor water environment? If so, you may be perfect for this seasonal positionWORK SCHEDULE
Our season runs from April through August with Swim Meets every Monday in May and June and Swim Team social events running through August. Preference is given to coaches who can commit to set practice times, swim meet and social events.
