    Shark Pups Head Coach

The Garden Hills Cool Sharks Swim Team is hiring a Shark Pups Head Coach for the 2020 season and beyond.  We are one of the largest and most successful swim programs in the ASA league, serving a wide variety of families from many intown Atlanta neighborhoods through our summer and fall swim teams, spring stroke clinic, fall middle school/high school training clinic, swim lesson program, dive team, and adult swim team.

The Shark Pups is our junior swim team for swimmers ages 4-6 who know some basic swimming but aren’t quite ready for summer swim team.  The program has four 3-week sessions and two just-for-fun Mini Meets. Swimmers are organized into 30-45 minute groups of no more than ten swimmers per group, and all coaching takes place in the water, with one or two assistants.

Our mission is to provide a fun introduction to summer team swimming and to promote good sportsmanship and teamwork, as well as to encourage a life-long love for swimming.  We offer a flexible schedule and a highly competitive salary, commensurate with experience.  There is also the potential for additional involvement with our summer team, fall team, and other programs if desired (including the opportunity to earn additional income throughout the season teaching private swim lessons).
