Grandview the Glen Swim Team in Suwanee is looking for a head coach.
Requirements:
· Lifeguard Certified
· 4+ years experience on competitive swim team
· 2+ years coaching experience
Responsibilities:
· Overseeing regular practice for team of 70+ swimmers
· Overseeing “wee” swimmer program (teaching to swim)
· Organizing Junior Coach volunteers and Paid Coach assistants
· Creating weekly swim line up for 5 meets
· Working with Swim board and parents throughout the season to ensure a positive experience for all swimmers
Hours/Schedule:
· Practices start May 8
· Practices are after school until after memorial day, then switch to mornings
· There is a possibility of evening practices for a portion of the team
· Meets are Thursday evenings
· Attendance is required at all practices and meets, including championship meet, unless sick or emergency.
Salary will be consistent with experience and qualifications.
