Our Brookfield Barracudas consist of between 100-120 of the best kids you will ever coach. Not only are you a coach and mentor to encourage children of all ages in swimming, you will also be their idol they look up to. Kids are often a congruent reflection of their parents, so you can expect to have a great support system for the season.
Prepare to jump in the pool on Tuesday, May 9. If the weather looks a little rough or if the pool temperature faces a threat to turn the kids into icicles upon entry, then the practice start date will begin on Monday, May 15.
Practices will continue to run Monday - Friday with swimmers ages 8 & under practicing from 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. and the 9 & ups from 5:45 - 6:45 p.m. Afternoon practice will continue to run Monday - Friday with Wednesday, May 24 being the last day of afternoon practices. If you have read up to this point of my job posting, then this team could just be your perfect match. Our previous year's Swim Team Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach have been on board with us for the past 7 seasons, so let that serve as us being one of the best teams in the Atlanta area to work for. The Brookfield Barracudas always strive for a fun season as well as individual improvement. Friendly competition is fun, but individual improvement, personal accomplishment of goals and as a team are the main focus.
The pay rate for both Head Coach and Assistant Head Coach are at an hourly rate, you will be reimbursed for any and all travel time to and from away meets and will make an extremely generous additional commission on private swim lessons given.
